I can't find  Back log in next-gen project when creating new project?

the idea behing next-gen projects is to be minimal without everything added by default.  this is particularly helpful for new teams.  

 

the feature can be SWITCHED ON as needed from your project settings. 

 

if you cannot see BACKLOG, go to project settings on the project sidebar and then simply turn on the relevant feature and Voilà you will see Backlog.

You need to enable the backlog feature (project settings -> features)

@Khine Theint Theint Zin, welcome to the community. That is certainly odd. I haven’t created a new next-gen for awhile now but I do have backlog for those I have. Do you have older NG projects that correctly display backlog? It dis play show as below.
