It's impossible to modify a board on a classic project. I have all administration rights possible. Why not?

Hi Christian - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Any Classic Software project will let you modify the board. Business and Next-gen projects will not.

You might be able to create a new board and link it to the Business project.

But your best option it probably to create a new Classic Software project, then move all of the issues on the Business project to the Software project using the Bulk Change function. Then you will be able to modify the board.

Two possible reasons:

  • this is a business project that has a default non-configurable board
  • you are not the owner of the board

can you provide a full screenshot of this board so I might qualify?

Hi

Yes, it is a business project.

  • But what kind of classic project let's you modify the board?
  • How can I change the filter of this board to hide the completed tasks older the 7 days?

Thanks a lot for your answers.
