I cannot create an Task nor Story

Hi Jira:

No one on my team who have access to Jira are able to create Tasks nor Stories.  We are however able to create Bugs.  Please help.  My team is down for 2 working days now.

Was it working before and stopped working? Are you the Jira administrator, or if not, can you contact them?

In order to help you, we need to understand if you are on the cloud or on a sever/datacenter instance. Btw, if you are able to create Bugs but not task/Stories probably there's something wrong at your porject configuration.

Are you able to see Task/Story as issue type on creation as Issue Type? If yes, please check validator on create transition of your workflow? If not, please check the Issue Type Scheme of your project.
