I need to export the user list, but I haven't received the email. I've tried multiple times, but I still haven't received it.

Hello,

Welcome to community :)

This generally happens if your email ID is suppressed or your admins have blocked email from @id.atlassian.com.

We receive the export users email from @id.atlassian.com

Could you check with your admin team if anything is blocked or check your junk or spam folder if the emaiil has gone there

Thank You,

Prachi

Hey @Rhea Angela Lorico

Here's a breakdown of potential causes and solutions:
1. Outgoing Mail is Disabled:
  • Verify: Go to Jira's System settings (Cog icon > System) and check the Outgoing Mail settings to ensure they are enabled.
  • Action: If disabled, enable it and test by sending a test email.
2. SMTP Server Issues:
  • Verify:
Ensure the SMTP server settings (host, port, username, password) are correctly configured in Jira's system settings.
  • Action:
If the settings are incorrect, update them with your email provider's details and test again.
3. Email Provider Blocking:
  • Verify:
Check with your email administrator or IT team to see if emails from Atlassian are being blocked or filtered.
  • Action:
If blocked, you may need to whitelist Atlassian's email domain or IP addresses.
4. Spam Filters:
  • Verify: Check your spam or junk folder for the missing email.
  • Action: If found in spam, mark it as "not spam" and add the sender to your safe senders list.
5. Jira's Internal Settings:
  • Verify:
Check Jira's user management settings for any specific configurations related to exporting users or email notifications.
  • Action:
Ensure that the users you are trying to export are correctly configured and that the export settings are properly set up.
6. User Not Receiving Notifications:
  • Verify: Ensure the user has not disabled email notifications in their personal settings.
  • Action: Check the user's notification preferences and ensure they are enabled.
