thank you for raising this question.
The field Story points was changed in the new issue view to Story Point Estimate. In fact, it is the same field with a different name.
To add it to your New Issue Detail view, navigate to your board Click on the three dots icon (...) > Board settings > Issue Detail View and add the Story Point Estimate to the general fields section:
