I have Jira Enterprise, is it possible to add my Roadmap to the project view for summary purposes?

I have Jira Enterprise (I believe Data Center), is it possible to add my Roadmap to the project view for summary viewing purposes? I have Plans and all, but the feature does not allow for: changing status, see the latest comment, viewing the task summary, without having to pull up on another tab.

Enterprise is Jira Cloud. 

What are you trying to do exactly? If you can elaborate little bit so I can try to help.

Sorry, correction we are on Jira Server.

Is there a way in Plans (Advanced Roadmaps) to see task summary (side pane) rather than it pulling up a new tab? I am trying edit live with the team and its challenging when we have to pull up task by task in new tabs in new in order to see the comments, change status, etc. 

I read that only Cloud allows this feature, but maybe there is a workaround?

Unfortunately Server/Data Center have less features than Cloud.

I only see them as a list on my Data Center view. You have to open the work item in a different tab or window.
