I'm unable to see specific swim lanes (Columns) on a Sprint board that the rest of my team can see.

My team uses several boards on Jira for Kanban and Scrum and there are certain columns (swim lanes) that I cannot see, when team members share their screen with me, I can see it on their boards.  How do I set up my permissions to view these columns?  Thank you!

Hi @Monica Pirlot,

Swimlanes cannot be restricted, so possible explanations can be:

• You are not looking at the same board. Boards can have very similar names, you can check the URL to ensure you're looking at the same one.
• Some tickets are restricted and, since you can't see them, you can't see the associated swimlanes.

I can see the Jira stories when I look at the backlog - and see the status - For example the lane I can't see on the board is called "In Test".

I understand now that you're talking about columns instead of swimlanes, so it helps us identify the issue: the only possible explanation is that you are not looking at the same board than them.

Can you please share some screenshots (from your point of view + from your colleagues point of view) to check if there isn't anything else we're missing?
