I need to apply JIRA query on Time in status tab, Currently it is not coming for me, must be some access rights issue, for my id query field is not coming but for my peer it is coming. I am not able to understand this query!!! |
To all the marketplace vendors in this thread, could you please read the question being asked before you all start spamming with ads for your apps!
@Annapurna Banka you mentioned the query is working for one of your coworkers but it isn't for you. Are you able to share the the query that you are trying to run?
Also, do you know of any major permission differences between yourself and the employee that this is working for, such as them being an admin and you are not?
Thanks!
To the best of my knowledge, native JIRA does not support tracking of the time spent in various ticket statuses. The best I have done is pay for a third party to handle this.

Hi @Annapurna Banka ,
As Logan mentioned Jira doesn't have a built-in solution for it. If you prefer using a marketplace app, you can try Status Time Reports app developed by our team. It mainly provides reports and gadgets based on how much time passed in each status.
Here is the online demo link, you can see it in action and try without installing the app.
For further details, you can have a look at Status Time Reports How to Videos.
If you are looking for a completely free solution, you can try the limited version Status Time Reports Free.
If you need any help, feel free to contact us via support@bloompeak.io or schedule a demo with us.

Hello @Annapurna Banka ,
When you refer to the Time in Status tab, do you mean the main page of the Time in Status application?
If so, could you please tell me which Time in Status app you are referring to, as there are several apps on the market with the same name?
If it is Timepiece - Time in Status for Jira (my team) please raise a support ticket , including screenshots and a detailed explanation of your problem and our support team will get back to you immediately.
Kind Regards,
Gizem
