I need to select items from different Projects to work on one sprint. How can I do that in JIRA?

Supriya October 22, 2018

Our team works on multiple projects at a time. How can we select all those high priority items from multiple projects and work on them in one sprint?

I created JIRA Rapidboard. It is showing me all the items inside the indisividual projects in the current sprint.

Is there a way I can actually have multiple backlogs for each project but have one active sprint?

You can create a board and define for this board a filter (board settings -> general), which would select all issues with high priority. Then you could manage these issues in one sprint.

A board is a view of issues, which are selected from the projects by the filter.  So yes, you can have many projects on one board, and create a sprint from the backlog you get there.

Then you can create other boards with different filters and their own backlogs.
