I am trying to modify my workflow so my team can pick the resolution before setting the worktask as done. I've watched a couple of videos but they don't match the latest release of Jira I'm working on.
For example, in the video it shows editing the Workflow and the Edit Transition page being rendered. On this page, there are fields for
Name
Description
Screen
When I edit the workflow in the version of Jira I am running I see the following fields
Transition
Path
Rules
Properties
And, there does not appear to be any good examples online that walks me through this. Can anyone help me.
Thanks,
Mark
Hi Mark - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Are you using a Team-managed project or Company-managed project? Can you share a screenshot of when you click on the Transition to Done?
If Company-managed, you need to create a Transition screen first. Just create a single screen and do not attach it to any scheme. Then add the Resolution field to the Screen you just created.
Now edit the workflow and click on that transition to Done. Then click on Edit. There you can attach the screen you just created. Publish your workflow and all done!
Hi @mark laney
I believe you might be using the new Workflow Editor. As far as I know, it currently doesn't provide a straightforward way to add screens to transitions. You may want to switch back to the old editor, where this option is available, and follow the instructions you’ve found.
Cheers

Hi Maciej,
Thanks for your response. I"m new here. Can anyone tell me how I rollback to the old editor?
Thanks!
