Hey,
I see that JIRA has the option of linking the account to GitHub, just wanted to hear the thoughts from thought who have done it.
Do you think its a good option?
Hi @Arpita
It is a valuable integration. You can view development information in issue view, use them to configure workflow triggers, see them in releases view etc.,
See this page for more details: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/integrating-with-development-tools-776636216.html
Hi Guys,
Firstly sorry for now replying sooner but I want to thank you all for your input...
I was able to convince most of my team to go ahead with the integration and so far so good...
A big thank you once again for helping me build my case :D

I think its definitly a good option. It helps linking the devs and the product owners closer together. In jira you see which story is implemented in which branch on github, and in github you can see what is the bigger picture of what is beeing developed.
