I try to access the Field 'Start date'.am getting the error as Field 'Start date' is not searchable

Hello Community Members,

Please help as I try to access the Field 'Start date' I am getting the below error.

I could only see the message like this 

Field 'Start date' is not searchable, it is only sortable.

Hi @michael_rajan and welcome to the community,

Go to cog > issues > custom fields. Locate you custom field and from the ellipsis menu click edit details. On the search template field choose the date range field or date-time range picker:
