How do i the same?
Am mapping comment body with following field in the csv filed "yyyy/mm/dd hh:mm:ss am/pm; john doe; comment 1"
Please let me know what should i do to get the following result.
Timestamp for the comment should be taken up from this column, like wise - commenter name and comments. No matter i what i do, am getting the commenter as myself since i have logged in as the admin and date of comments as current system time (my machine).
Still waiting for a valid answer. Please help me here folks.. :(
I think,
1. better to use only Mandatory fields/columns to start with
2. export csv with dummy required data/fields and then fill your desired data in specific format for import

Thanks for the reply. I dont think so mandatory is the issue up here. I believe here is the format of the comment is the problem. Can you please let me know the format for the comments.

What I want to day:
1.. basically first create some data in Jira.
2.. export it in CSV
3.. fill your required data in it and Import it
Data format or date style, everything will be auto correct.
Note: for mandatory means the minimum fields you need to import
