I want to add a flag to an issue in Jira Product Discovery Roadmap that highlights the entire row

I have been trying different ways to add a flag in Jira Product Discovery Roadmap 

I originally through it would be as easy as it used to be where we can select a checkbox and it would add the flag and change the colour of the issue / card until the flag was removed.

This seems to have been removed from the new JPD projects

I have created a new field called flag and added a select option that will display an icon of a flag and the highlight will be set to a colour, which is fine to start with, as it does pop out a bit but its not "In your face popping out" and could be missed if other fields use a similar  colour

I would like to take it one step further i would like the full row to be highlighted... not just the left side of the issue and the field itself... 

I have seen this working in the Jira Cloud projects we have and would like this replicated in the JPD project as well. (I know they are two different tools) but dont understand why useful functionalilty like the flagging option would be not included in JPD.

Has anyone figured out how / if its possible to turn the full row to a colour instead of just the left hand side / field itself?
