I want to auto filled the Start Date and End Date of subtask without impacting the date in Task

Now when I change change the subtask to In Dev, it auto editted the Start date in subtask. However, the Start Date in task also changed. I just want to change only the subtask

The rule you have shown is not directly responsible for changing the parent issue, but it could be indirectly responsible.

Check the parent issue that was updated. Look at the History information to see who is listed as having made the change, and if there was any other change recorded shortly before that.

Expand the Automations panel on the bottom right side. Click the Refresh button there to display any recent Automation rules that have run against that issue. If it shows a rule has been executed, examine the details of that rule.

The rule you have shown is not constrained to run only for sub-tasks. If the parent task status changes to In Dev then the rule would execute and the Start date on the parent task will be updated.

There could be another rule that is being triggered based on the rule you've shown updating the sub-task.

There could be a Post Function in the sub-tasks workflow that is causing an update to the parent issue.
