I want to cancel an App Request I made by mistake

I was working on a Jira Dashboard and under Recommended for Your Team I saw a Power BI Connector. I clicked on it and a popup said I had to request an administrator to approve it and I did - not knowing there was a @$2000+ per month price tag on it.  I am a contractor with no purchasing capability where I work. I would really like to cancel that app request, I do not want it. What should I do?

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Once you submit the request you cannot revoke it. What it does is that it notifies your org admin for Atlassian that you would like to try the app out, and they can approve or decline the request. Usually a company has a purchase process in place so app requests would not be approved without proper wetting. 

What you could do is contacting your Jira admin/Org admin and let them know that the request was a mistake. If you do not who these persons are I would start with sending a ticket to your IT Helpdesk and they should be able to point you in the right direction.

I understand you have purchased a third-party add-on from the marketplace apps and would like to cancel the same

If you no longer need a Marketplace app, you can cancel your subscription. The process is the same as for canceling your subscription for an Atlassian app instance. How to cancel a subscription

Incase you have trouble canceling this app, please reach out to Atlassian billing team https://www.atlassian.com/company/contact/purchasing-licensing?#/ and they can help cancel the app as well
