I want to close issues only when subtasks are closed

I want to close issues only when subtasks are closed. I didn't install any paid add-on.

I set up my work flow conditions(https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-prevent-issues-from-being-closed-while-the-sub-tasks-are-still-open-in-jira-724928276.html) and project set-up > Automation(https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/Automation-When-all-sub-tasks-are-done-move-parent-to-Done/qaq-p/1690122)

However those solutions didn't work. How can I solve this problem?

@jun lee Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

Can you please confirm that your condition on the workflow is preventing the issue from being closed - https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-prevent-issues-from-being-closed-while-the-sub-tasks-are-still-open-in-jira-724928276.html

Once you confirm this is working you can then troubleshoot the automation.  I would suggest that you use one from the playground as your example.  https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/automation-template-library#/rule/140671

Automation setting works but it is not a control method to complete the issue when the sub-work is completed.
