Hi,
If column constraint = issue count, excluding sub-tasks is selected, since all blockers are now subtasks, I would expect that "Blocked" does not appear in backlog statuses and since all blockers are now subtasks, that they do not appear on the board, but even if excluded they are still appearing.
For this I think I've figured out how to exclude Blockers from the board. Had to remove Blocked and Resolved statuses from the board in addition to selecting the issue count, excluding sub-tasks option.
Is this correct? Because I am getting confused now with column constraint function. Can you help me having clarity on this?
That really is not how a board is intended to work. Blockers are not usually done as sub-tasks, they're flags or dependencies (although there's nothing to stop a sub-task blocking completion of an issue, but you'd want to show that on the board as part of the issue)
For a Kanban board, you should remember that each card is a measure of your throughput. The constraint on issue count really is "number of cards in a column", and if those cards happen to be sub-tasks or blockers (or both), then that's fine, they're a card, and hence count towards the limit.
