I want to link Jiara issues with the corresponding code in bitbucket

roshy45 August 11, 2020

Hello,

I've managed to link my jira account with bitbucket & github.

Now i want to track issues / bugs in Jira and link it with the corresponding code in the bitbucket repository. How do i do this?

Hi Roshy,

depending on what you would like to do, it's usually enough to use the issue key in your commits, pull requests, etc.
Jira will automatically notice this and link the object to the issue, so that the object will be listed in the developer panel of your issue(s).

You can find more on that topic in the documentation: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/view-development-information-for-an-issue/

Regards,
Philipp
