Hi everyone,
I've created custom fields on my screen, and i want to lock them so no one can edit those ones.
It's important beacause they're updated automaticaly using automation rules.
i've seen some similar posts but no one have the answer, i hope that Atlassian have updated this problem.
If you remove the fields from the "edit" screen (and possibly create if you are scripting them), poeple will not be able to edit them.

Can you please explain the steps you followed. As when I removed the field it removes the field completely from the screen while the goal was to lock it so users can't update it
