I want to select only one option from the available two options in the radio field without scripting

Hi,

In my project i created a radio button where it contains options "Paid" and "Pending". If the user selects paid option then only status should move to the next otherwise it should return to the previous status. I'm not looking for the scripting side, if anything can happen using advance workflow options that would be better.

If you have Jira Service Desk then you can use Jira Service Desk automation:
