I want to track the changes to a user story through the workflow stages

Saranya Ramachandran September 30, 2019

I want to be able to track the different stages that a user story goes through in the burn down chart. Currently I only see an issue opened or issue closed. Is it possible to view in the burndown chart the different workflow stages a user story goes through?

Hi @Saranya Ramachandran

Not on the Burndown Chart but on the Cumulative Flow Diagram you can select all the status of your workflow and the chart will display the statuses of issues over time. I think that is pretty close to what you are looking for.

Thank you for your response.  I don't think I am able to see the actual against the plan. In the burndown chart I can see a snapshot of all the changes that happened with an issue (Example when it was opened or closed).

Do you know if these are possible with the cumulative flow diagram?

Cumulative Flow Diagram actually shows you the statuses of issues over time that means all the issues in the selected range of time. It is not same as Burndown where you get the timeline of the issue from the beginning till it is done (but not intermediate statuses).
