I would like to copy the custom fields value from one custom fields to another, any sufficient way to do that?
Hello @Monika Prasad
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
Have you explored the Automation Rule functionality?
https://confluence.atlassian.com/automation/
If you have sufficient permissions to create Automation Rules then you could use rules to retrieve the issues and copy data from one field to another.
You could also consider using a CSV import. You would start by exporting to CSV the issues you want to update. Then you would modify the CSV file to add the data into the second field, and then import the CSV to update the issues.
In either case I would recommend you try the process with just a few issues at first.
If you have Scriptrunner, they have a built-in script that allows you copy values from one custom field to another.

welcome to the community!
If you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, another option may be the app that my team and I are working on, JXL for Jira.
JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you'd do in e.g. Google Sheets or Excel. You can also bulk-edit your fields, using copy/paste. This makes it very easy to copy values from one column (i.e., field) to another column/field.
This is how this looks in action for a labels field and a multi-select field - it works the same way for any other fields:
You only need to make sure that the values "fit" the new field. If that's not already the case, you can also copy/paste your values to e.g. Excel or Google Sheets, manipulate them there, and then copy/paste them back to JXL. This works for any number of issues and fields in one action, so you should be done with your work in no time.
Any questions just let me know,
Best,
Hannes
