I would like to drag multiple stories in a completed sprint into epics and/or versions/releases

MC November 6, 2020

I have recently created versions/releases.

I'd like to go back to previously completed sprints and see the completed stories and multi-select and drag them to these new versions/releases.

I do that from the backlog view for active/existing sprints or from the backlog.  But unfortunately the backlog view does not show completed sprints for me to do this.  Is there another/better way to set versions/releases for a large quantity of stories in completed sprints?

Hi @MC ,

I think the best way to do that would be through bulk change. You search for the issues you want to update first (Issues > Search for issues). Bulk change is under Tools in the top right of your screen then:

You have a variety of bulk change options at your disposal. But for this case, choose Edit from the option list next. It is the FixVersion field you would want to set for releases.

That worked perfectly, thank you!
