We are using JIRA 6.3.6 and think we need to schedule index service. We have questions:

1 - Will it work for JIRA 6.3.6?
2 - We want to schedule it, (ie. 2:00 AM) BUT RUN THE INDEX S WHEN IT IS NEEDED AT THAT TIME. Will it do that? It must be a combination. We see an option on the screen showing "If needed" but for us it must be tied into a schedule.

The scheduled indexing service had been discontinued since atlassian introduced background indexing in 5.2 and improved the indexing functions in later releases.
