If I turn email notifications back on for projects, will all project history be sent out?

Now that I have developed some projects, and have multiple live projects, I want to turn email notifications back on. I want to make sure that I will not automatically send out hundreds of emails for the previous work. I only want the emails to go out to users going forward. Please let me know based on your experience.

No, you're safe, the scheme is a purely event driven thing - it will only send email for new events.
