If creating an issue, the default priority is not set

Josef Sigl November 16, 2022

If i create an case and I stay in any other case, then the default value of field "Priority" in the create-screen is "BLOCKER".

If i create an case and I stay in any dashboard, then the default value of field "Priority" in the create-screen the correkt Default Value of Priority.

Is it possible, that the reason is, that the projects use "different priority schemes"?
This only happens when I create cases they user different priority schemes.
Ans why is this only, if i stay in any other case?

Each Jira project can have their own Priority, and each set of priorities can have their own default priority.

It is likely that your project has a separate priority set and the others have the default one. The default priority set have Blocker as the default priority.

This is why you have different defaults in different projects.
