Personally, Oracle, based on the massive historical problems I've had on versions 3 to 5, all solved by moving to Oracle, PostGres or MySQL.

Since 6, MS seems to have got better, but I still find the fact MS's own jdbc drivers for the system are utterly useless quite a telling indicator (use the jtds ones)
