Im using swimlanes based on query and when I add a label they drop off

Hi guys,

so i've been messing about trying to use our epic workflow to create an epic timeline and I think its worked really well.

The final hurdle is that when im using a board filtered by swimlane, even though my queries dont exclude issues that have a label as soon as I add a label they drop off the board, and when I remove the labels they re-appear...

 My query is as follows

project in (P1, P2, P3, P4) and status in ("Jan Planned", "Feb Planned", "Mar Planned", "Apr Planned", "May Planned", "Jun Planned", "Jul Planned", "Aug Planned", "Sep Planned", "Oct Planned", "Nov Planned", "Dec Planned")

 Any ideas? I've tried something like "and (labels is EMPTY or labels is not EMPTY)" which doesn't seem to help and even if it did I dont really like that as a solution.

@Toby Moore, please check the board's man and sub-filters. Board Settings > General.

got it, had no idea sub filter was even a thing but for some reason label = EMPTY was in there. thanks @Jack Brickey
