Images are disappearing from comments

I have a very annoying issue in Jira projects. Screenshot images that I saved in a Jira issue disappeared suddenly after several days/weeks. Instead of the image the text 'Preview' unavailable' is shown. I am not able to figure out when or why this happens. Some issues it did not happen, other issues it happened multiple times. How is this possible? This way I cannot rely on Jira.

Have you alerted the administrators of your Jira Cloud environment about this problem? This problem should be forwarded to the Atlassian support team. Your Jira Administrators can open a support case with the Atlassian support team to get help investigating this.
