I was wondering if it is possible to impersonate users with JJupin through a SIL script. Our end goal is to be able to have a dashboard gadget that takes a user input, and when it runs the SIL script, you'd be able to view our instance of JIRA as if you were the chosen user (impersonating that user). Is this possible, and if so, what would the script look like that would allow me to do this?
Hi,
There is the runAs routine, which allows you to run a script as another user, but it will not allow you to view the dashboard (or the whole JIRA) as another user.
Best Regards,
Alexandra
I don't know if JJupin can do that, but there are other solutions that can do it:
