Import Google Doc into Jira Issue

I would like to "import"/"scrape" content from a google doc into my jira issue on creation. Below is the current workflow:

Gmail account receives an email, jira imports the email to create a new issue

Desired workflow:

Gmail account receives email with google doc link, jira imports the email and scapes the linked google doc to fill in multiple feils in the new jira issue.

Anybody done this/have ideas on how to do this?

The best thing I can imagine is to write a script using ScriptRunner or something which does this parsing on create.
