Import a single project from a backup that has multiple projects btw two cloud instances

Hi!

I have a Jira cloud instance with mutliple client projects hosted on it. A client who has created their own Jira cloud instance would like their project imported in but I am having trouble figuring out how to import a single project from the backup file I exported from my Jira instance.

I have read documentation that says I can delete the other projects that I don't want to import from the backup but I want to do this before importing the backup in due to privacy concerns for existing client data.

Hello Julie,

Unfortunately, at the moment, it's not possible to export a single project to import to another instance.

Atlassian has a feature request suggesting the implementation of such ability:

• JRACLOUD-34307 

That being said, the best option for this case is to export the CSV of all tickets of the desired project and import it in the new instance.
