Import from Bugzilla (MariaDB)

Hi,

I tried to import Bugzilla data into Jira using the JIRA Importer plugin and selecting MySQL as Database system. After configuring all the fields in te first step "Setup", I get the following error message:
"Error connecting to the database: Could not create connection to database server. Attempted reconnect 3 times. Giving up."

Since the JIRA importer plugin only supports MySQL, Postgre SQL and MS SQL Server, I wonder if it is possible to import data from Bugzilla to JIRA, whose database system (from BugZilla) is MariaDB?
