I'm wanting to import JQL data into specific cells within MS Excel. Is this possible? I know I can import data from Jira using the cloud connecter, but that appears to import data into the entire sheet. I just want to have certain JQL values pulled into specific cells within Excel.
The Better Excel Exporter app offers much more flexibility than the Excel connector. You can run scripts that can run JQL, process its result and insert that to a given cell.
Your use case sounds totally doable, but if you tell me more about the concrete details, I should be able to give you more guidance how to implement with the app!
(Discl. I'm a developer working on this paid and supported app.)
Hi,
you can try to import all data you need like you already do and create some function to extract the values you want into an other sheet in the same file.
