I want to sync the user's department from LDAP to Jira. And then, once the data is in Jira, I wish to utilize it for searching like how many issues are under a particular department or how many users are in the department, what are their tasks...etc. So that the department info is not only in user management or user profile, it needs to be a field in issue and be searchable and usable. For example, when I assign an issue to UserA who belongs to Department A. And then, there's a field called department can automatically fill in with Department A. In this way, I can use filter to get a list of all the issues assigned to Department A.
For these requirements, is there any app recommended? Thank you very much!
