Only around 10% of the tickets are imported when we use the .csv file.
We have created the project on which to import. Do we need to create the versions and epic's also on the target Jira?
Is this a mapping issue or is this how to have structured the target project?
The import process should have thrown out one or more error messages for every issue it could not import, telling you why it failed.
In most cases, this would have gone to the screen in front of you, but for some of the more complex errors, it might have written the errors to the log, while just saying "import failed" on screen.
What were the errors you got when you ran the import?
It is hard to say exactly what the issue may be here. I have never experienced an issue where some of the issues were imported. I would look at one that is imported versus one that is not in your CSV file to see if there's something different. Also do you receive errors when you do the import? Finally are you importing using the project field in your CSV file or are all issue going to a single project?
