In Backlog, can I drag only Cases from Current project into the Version?

I'm in the Backlog and trying to drag a Case from a Sprint to a Version but I just get the "NOT" sign.

I'm in backlog for Project ISS. It has a filter that includes Cases for other Projects.

I can only drag Cases from the ISS project into the Versions column.

Is this by design, or is there some way to enable this?

Hi @Clay Nichols,

This is by design. Versions are specific to one single Jira project. So you are correct: you can only drag issues from project ISS into a version that belongs to that same ISS project.
