We are trying to do a quick filter around lastCommentedDate on issue but are not getting the expected results.
Hi @Teresa Douglas - I'm Reece from the ScriptRunner Product Marketing team.
I can confirm @Hannes Obweger - JXL for Jira is correct about ScriptRunner for Jira Cloud.
You can also use the Enhanced Search for Jira standalone app.
If you need help syncing your keywords, we have a video and further documentation to support you.
If you have any other questions, please contact our support team.
Thanks,
Reece Smith

I believe that the lastCommentedDate isn't native to Jira but comes from a Marketplace app. I would assume that it's Scriptrunner. I'm not an expert myself but I believe you (or your site admin) may have to enable/trigger a JQL keyword sync in the app for this to actually work.
Hope this helps,
Best,
Hannes

... and just to put this out there: If you want to filter by - but also see and work with - the last commented date, this would be easy to do using the app that my team and I are working on, JXL for Jira:
JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with a number of so-called smart columns that aren’t natively available, including the date of last comment (along with many other comment-related smart columns). As you can see above, you can easily sort and filter by the date of last comment, and also use it across JXL's advanced features, such as support for (configurable) issue hierarchies, issue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, or conditional formatting.
Any questions just let me know!

We don't have that add on but looks like it might be worth a review. Thanks.
