When add a user - get told "your adminstrator must approve" - but I am one of two project administrators and neither of us is getting any prompt to approve anything - so we are STUCK :-(
We are in a Team-managed project, no-one has Jira Admin access. We have been using this Project for a while but if we cannot add and remove users we are looking at chucking out our Jira trial and moving on - surely there must be a simple way to see where control of our environment lies, and if necessary fix it?

The tags indicate you are using a Standard subscription. Is that accurate? Are you using a trial of a Standard subscription or actually paying for a Standard subscription.
It sounds like the users need to be granted access to the Jira product before they can be granted access to specific projects.
Product invitations and access requests that require admin approval are found in admin.atlassian.com under Products, the select the site/product, then Access Requests.
