In my plan view I want to group by Reporter. I could only see Assignee.

I want to see the plan view group by reporter and assignee i could only see for Assignee. How can i configure to have this group by view to reporter also.

I understand that you're asking specifically about the plan view, but if your use case is more about the grouping than about the plan view, you could check the Atlassian Marketplace for possible solutions.

E.g., this would be easy to do with the app that my team is working on, JXL for Jira.

JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with a number of advanced features, including support for configurable issue hierarchies, nested grouping by any field, sum-ups, and conditional formatting.

This is just one example, but there may be other apps on the Marketplace that might help with that. You may already know that you can trial any app for free for 1 month, and depending on the size of your size, it may be free forever. So if an app is an option for your, perhaps try a few and see which works best for you.
