Essentially we have several projects running in Jira. I have a need to see ALL project time lines from an advanced roadmap so that I can plan when its best to start a new project. But the current projects that we are running are not using the roadmaps feature in that project space. Will I need to go into each project first and build out the road maps first and THEN create an Advanced Roadmap to see them all?
You don't need to do anything to the projects, but you do need Jira Software Premium to use advanced Roadmaps.
You can create a new plan and bring issues in from any combination of projects, boards and filters and then view and interact with them from your plan in advanced Roadmaps. It helps if you give all your issues a start and end date but you can do that after you've created your plan.
Thanks!
