In the main screen of the Issue does not allow to change the owner

ivanelson May 2, 2018

Hi,

On some projects, I can change the Issue owner simply on the Issue main screen. But in other projects, I can only do the same, through the "Assign" button, which opens a secondary screen.

Change of owner in main screen( See "Click to edit"):

Only through the "Assign" button(Assign button only):

I already checked my permission schemes, I did not see anything relevant.

The only difference is that one of the projects(ANX) uses "Issue security scheme" and another does not.

Any suggestion ?

Have a look at the "issue type screen scheme" for the projects and issue types, I think they are different.

Specifically, in DTI, I think you'll find the screen set for issue "edit" actions does not have the assignee on it, whereas the one for ANX does.

A quick way to check this - go back into both issues, and click the "edit" on the left to pop up the full "edit" screen for each, you should be able to see that the field is missing then.

Bingo! Well on the fly.

Thank you.
