Inconsistency in automation condition check

For automation conditions, why can I specify "is not empty" in a "Issue field condition" but not for a "Advanced compare condition"?

See how "Issue fields condition" has "is not empty" as an option but "Advanced compare condition" does not...

Just choose equals and then leave the next field blank.
