Indexing is slowing Jira

Łukasz Grobelny March 3, 2021

Hello,

We are running Jira Software on prem, and most likely some plugin is causing our instance to freeze - it can be of for 5-15 minutes. It usualy goes off after the indexing job:

Any idea what might be causing this?

I've discussed this topic with Atlassian support in the past.

I'd also start by reproducing the problem in staging, then remove suspicious plugins until you find a possible cause
