Input field for "Issue inline creation" not displayed in JIRA 7.1.7

The "Issue inline creation" input field was introduced with JIRA 6.3 (see https://confluence.atlassian.com/agile/jira-agile-releases/jira-agile-release-notes/jira-agile-6-4-release-notes#JIRAAgile6.4ReleaseNotes-Newfeaturesinthisrelease). My installation has version 7.1.7 and the input field is not displayed as expected. Instead I only see the "+ Create issue" link.

Was the input field replaced by the link?

Hi,

What happens when you click on "+ Create issue" link?  You should see the same than in the screenshot!

The documentation indicates: ".. Just click the Create issue link, fill in the details and hit the Enter button. The new issue will be automatically added to your backlog. "
