Hi Heikki,

I hope you're well.

Based on https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/supported-platforms-938846830.html tests are actually performed on Ubuntu, so you should be able to install it on the latest version. Try following the steps on https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/installing-jira-applications-on-linux-938846841.html to see if you run into any issues.
