Installation of Agile JIRA

Hi -

We are using JIRA in our project. Below are the details:-

1. Date Purchased 10/Jun/14

2. License Type JIRA 25 Users: Commercial License

3. User Limit 25 (19 currently active)

4. Maintenance Period End Date 10/Jun/15

5. Maintenance Status Supported

6. Support Entitlement Number (SEN) SEN-3412777

7. Version 6.2.1

8. Build Number 6256

9. Server ID BBFB-5UNV-26Q1-Y7NJ

We want to have the Agile JIRA installed in it as well. Please let us know the possible options for doing the same also the cost involved.

Go into your Jira as an Admin, go to "add new addons", find it, click "install". It'll install it in evaluation mode, and then ask for licence details, which you get from the link to my.atlassian.comaccount where you paid for your Jira.

just to add, if you are having a very critical system please install Jira agile upto " jira-greenhopper-plugin-6.3.13.1.jar" version

later versions of jira-agile introduces some extra lexo rank tables in the Jira Database adn schedular job which can cause performance issues for unless there is an entry made in lexo rank table for all existing issues in Database.

Also , it increases the re-indexing time if you perform it right after the installation.

Also you might want to increase the plugin enable timeout parameter in environment to 300 for jira-agile as it takes longer to enable.
