Integration of Gitlab (self-managed) to Atlassian Jira Cloud

Hi,

I am migrating my self managed jira instance to jira cloud and as part of integration, integrating my self managed gitlab instance with it. I got to know that its possible through "GitLab for Jira Cloud" applicaiton. I followed all the prerequisites given here [1]. Still while adding my site url to app, its throwing below error :

"Failed to update the GitLab instance"

While i inspected this error in developer tools. Getting below response to this POST call.

Can you please suggest, whats going wrong here. I am hearing alot of articles on internet mentioning that this app does not work for self managed instances. Is it true? Can you guide please.
