Hi

We have an issue where our active directory server was switched and the people who initially set it up are working elsewhere.

In short I need an internal admin account to switch the AD over.

I have tried the suggestions outlined here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira/retrieving-the-jira-administrator-192836.html

But is keeps saying an error occurred trying to log you in - please try again.

The only things that are filling out the log files are:

catalina:

18-Jul-2018 12:12:58.217 WARNING [http-nio-XXXX-exec-19] com.sun.jersey.spi.container.servlet.WebComponent.filterFormParameters A servlet request, to the URI http://XXXX:YY/rest/gadget/1.0/login, contains form parameters in the request body but the request body has been consumed by the servlet or a servlet filter accessing the request parameters. Only resource methods using @FormParam will work as expected. Resource methods consuming the request body by other means will not work as expected.

Please does anyone have insight to assist with this?

Thanks

Jonathon

Jonathon,

What's your Jira version? Which method in the article you linked applied to you?

If you need to set the local directory back, can you try the steps in Administrator Cannot Login After Reordering User Directories?
